IT’s 2022 Year in Review: Bespoke Sports Inflatables

Inflatable Team, the sports division of Inflatable Design Group, was busy this year working with our lovely vendors to bring their visions to life in the form of high-quality bespoke sports inflatables.  In 2022 we were lucky to work with various clients from all different sports, schools, and divisions on different inflatables.

From bespoke inflatable entryways for their high-school football team to team-branded inflatable games for baseball teams, our team had a busy year, and we loved every client and project we worked on.  Below is a short review of some of the many amazing projects we got to create in 2022. 

Bespoke Inflatable Mascot Entryways

At IDG, we are known for our incredible and intimidating bespoke inflatable entryways.  From small inflatable arches to giant mascot inflatable entryways, we have a bespoke inflatable entryway that will fit any budget!  In 2022 we had the pleasure of working with clients to create stunning new designs. 

One of these new designs was a giant bespoke inflatable mascot entryway for a local high school, El Capitan.  El Cap’s mascot is a cowboy and they wanted an inflatable mascot entryway with a cowboy riding a horse.  The client also wanted to add extra accessories to their bespoke inflatable entryway including removable banners to the sides and a smoke machine system.

IDG’s team took everything the client said they wanted in their bespoke inflatable entryway and created a concept drawing.  After the concept drawing was approved, our team of talented seamstresses and artists got to work to bring the client’s vision to life.

The finished product was an incredible bespoke inflatable cowboy mascot entryway that was about 27 feet tall and 34 feet long.  Talk about intimidating the competition!    

Over the years, IDG has created bespoke inflatable mascot entryways for various teams and schools with all different types of mascots.  We have an extensive library of inflatable mascot entryways in various styles and at various sizes that can be viewed on our website.

For example, this year we worked with Academy High School to create a bespoke inflatable mascot entryway.  The school’s mascot is a bee and after looking through our website and previous bee mascot inflatable entryways, they decided they wanted a completely different style.  Our sales representatives and designers worked with Academy High School’s team to create a concept drawing of a completely new bespoke style of an inflatable bee mascot entryway.

As you can see from the photo, this new style is large and intimidating, especially with the added smoke machine. 

Other Bespoke Inflatable Entryways

In addition to inflatable mascot entryways, IDG also makes smaller entryways including inflatable arches, inflatable tunnels, inflatable football helmet entryways, and more! 

Over the years, IDG has made many inflatable arches of all different sizes, colors, and styles.  All have been customized and branded to show off various teams, schools, companies, and more.  This year we had the pleasure of working on a bespoke inflatable arch for the baseball team the Montgomery Biscuits. 

Like all our inflatables, this arch was completely custom-made for the baseball team.  The team wanted the inflatable to look like it was made of brick which is why it was fully digitally printed. 

Digital prints are just one of the ways that we customize our inflatables and allow us to put any pattern or design onto your bespoke sports inflatable.  IDG has high-quality printers that allow us to print directly onto the vinyl used in our bespoke sports inflatables.  Something to keep in mind if you are opting for a digitally printed inflatable is that digitally printed vinyl tends to be heavier than non-printed vinyl.

In addition to our inflatable entryways, IDG also works with universities and sports teams to create bespoke inflatable games.  This year we worked with the baseball team Greenville Drive to create a custom inflatable-hungry hippo game!  This giant inflatable game was a new concept our team designed and manufactured in 2022.
