Welcome the New NBA Season With Inflatable Basketball Games!
Basketball is back! NBA preseason is underway as all 30 teams are preparing for the long, exciting season ahead. Teams are traveling the world right now playing games in arenas all across the globe. With custom inflatable basketball games from IDG, you can give fans a game day experience like we do here in the States. The preseason is a great opportunity for basketball teams to not only give the fans a taste of what is to come for the upcoming season on the court but off the court as well. Many NBA teams have ordered custom inflatables from IDG in the past. Let’s take a look at what we created for them, and what their expectations are for the 2019-2020 season!
Bounce Back With Basketball Inflatables
We start in A-Town, the home of the Atlanta Hawks. The fans in the State Farm Arena will be looking for improvement this season after a disappointing 29-35 record last season. There is some hope though with the electrifying rookie season Trae Young had last season. Hawks fans will definitely be hoping for more of the same from the young star. Fans in Atlanta should also be hoping to get a picture with the Hawks custom inflatable logo block. The giant inflatable will be in and around the arena plenty of times this season, so if you’re in Atlanta for a game this season make sure to get a picture with it!
Not too far away from Atlanta are the Charlotte Hornets. Hornets fans were disappointed this offseason as fan-favorite Kemba Walker was traded to the Boston Celtics. Hopefully, Scary Terry Rozier can step up into Kemba’s old role and provide that spark that the Hornets need. The Hornets certainly provide a spark for their fans outside of the Spectrum Center with the Inflatable Basketball Challenge. A fantastic game for fans to show off their handles as they bob and weave through the obstacle and end with a finish at the rim. Hornets fans can look forward to magic both on the court and outside of the arena this upcoming season!
Next, we head to Dallas, the home of the Dallas Mavericks. Much like the fans in Atlanta with Trae Young, Mavericks fans are going to have high expectations for Luka Doncic’s sophomore season. The 20-year-old Slovenian international star lit up the NBA last season with his exceptional ball-handling skills and killer step-back jumper.
Doncic is certainly the star the fans at The American Airlines Center will keep an eye on all season long. Dallas fans should also keep an eye out for the Mavericks’ custom inflatable arch! A great way to promote your team and your brand; custom inflatable arches are perfect not only for game day but also for any and all community outreach programs. State your team’s presence with a custom inflatable arch and have a positive impact on your community. Inflatable arches and inflatable basketball games are the perfect opportunity for fans to snap a picture on game day and share with friends and family on social media!
New Arena, New Traditions
Our next stop takes us to the NBA’s newest arena: The Chase Center. The shiny new home for the Golden State Warriors opens after more than 40 years at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. The Warriors will make a 17.5 mile trip west across the bay to the new home on the bayfront of San Francisco. Golden State did not end the Oakland era the way they would have wanted to last season with a defeat at home in game 6 of the finals to the Toronto Raptors.
The Warriors are looking forward to starting the San Francisco era on a high note. The series against Toronto ended with many of their stars injured and unavailable to start the new season. After a brutal Achilles injury in last season’s finals Kevin Durant left the Warriors and joined Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn. Barring a miraculous recovery, Durant will not play next season but the Warriors will without a doubt miss his presence. Another set back for Golden State is the injury to Klay Thompson to start the season. Thompson also injured himself in that decisive game 6 of last season’s finals. Thompson was fouled on the play he injured but heroically made both of his free throws before leaving the court. Thompson is still recovering and will be out for at least the first half of the new season.
The fans at the Chase Center can usher in the new era with the Inflatable Dunk Pit. The Dunk Pit is shaped like a basketball shoe and has the colors and logos to match the Warriors. Fans can channel their inner Draymond Green when they go up for a slam! One of the best inflatable basketball games we create will be yet another activity to participate in at the new arena!
Lastly, we make a stop in H-Town, home of the Houston Rockets. In a blockbuster move, the Rockets let go of Chris Paul and picked up another, Russel Westbrook. The move reunites Westbrook with James Harden who were teammates on the Oklahoma City Thunder. That season the Thunder lost the Finals in 2012 to the Miami Heat. Now together again in Houston, Westbrook and Harden will do everything they can to bring a championship to Houston. With a wide open Western Conference, this might be the year for the Rockets.
Rockets fans will be cheering inside the Toyota Center, but outside they should look for inflatable tic tac toe! Go head to head with your friends in a test of mind and skill. Inflatable tic tac toe is the perfect way to entertain fans in your fun zone!
